Sorry for the late reply Larry. Yes on the 14th they looked at it, said it was these clips and next day 15th same noise. On 3/16 I climbed under it and with my wife starting it and keep her foot on the brake, putting it in reverse and drive, I was able to pinpoint it coming from the bellhousing.

Update 3/25/2025 Gullo Ford said, they pulled the inspection plate, didn’t see anything, drove it and since they couldn’t duplicate the problem, they aren’t digging into any further.

It’s pretty much any time any temp now. I have narrowed it down to inside the bell housing so flywheel or torque converter are hitting on something. It doesn’t in park, drive, reverse. More when the transfer between forward and reverse are started (flexed).
