I finally received a new harness in the mail to try. I’m not confident it will change anything, but worth a shot. I haven’t heard of a fix with this and there’s quite a few people with the same issue. Hopefully we can find a fix!

Yeah, for sure. I would have thought the same. I have been looking at caps as well. I have the XLT and my truck has the LED third brake light and that one doesn’t flicker at all while braking when the LED tail lights were installed.

No issues at all with the stock lights. That’s what’s so weird about it, I figured if it were an issue with my truck the stock lights would do the same thing.

yeah, it’s pretty annoying! The oem LEDs look awesome but I ended up putting my factory halogens back on bc of all the flickering. Might end up returning the lights if this harness doesn’t work out. Hopefully we can find a fix!

ok I was just curious if maybe there was a bad batch of tail lights being put out. Mine have a manufacturing date of 12/24. Also, I noticed with my truck it seems to happen mostly with the truck running. If I press the brakes while truck is not on, it doesn’t seem to happen.

One thing I noticed that you and I both have is the LED license plate lights. Not sure if those would cause any issues or not but maybe worth a shot.

Damn. I thought I was the only one. I’m at a loss too. I went through and checked everything underneath the truck all the grounds etc. They’re sending me new harnesses as well, but the guys I got the lights from think it’s a BCM issue. Weird thing is, lots of other people have these lights...

I recently installed bed lights on my 24 XLT and I have blis. I replaced the factory tail light harness with one that had the connections for the bed lights and switch and made a few forscan changes. I don’t have any issues yet.
