Have a UPR can on my '25, can confirm fittment. Bought the single valve can with all the accessories, only installed the clean side seperator and drain hose.
Looked through eBay, the only ones I saw that went left to right had a loose reel. Those would be for the single cab, you need one with an integrated right to left belt. The gray cloth is pretty universal, I THINK you can go all the way to a '17 and still be good.
Update overdue but I'm glad I waited. Took it on a road trip after the first week and it had a pretty grating drone at 2k RPM/ 75-80 MPH, and was super bummed. But just driving it and letting the muffler settle in has eliminated it and now I have an even tone throughout the rev range. Will...
It's offensive that Leer wouldnt include a single sheet instruction in the box or on the product page. Let alone their offical video instructions are obsolete with these new clamps.
Wouldnt you know it this stuff becomes pretty self explanatory once you get started, nevermind the 15 anger-panic of things not fitting before I realized that c-clamp had a different height on either end. In all a 2 hr project for a real slick look.
My 6.6ft cover just arrived, no notice, tracking number, nothin. Ordered mid Fri the 14th, so a 4 buisness day turnaround.
Also, what are these c things? No install references them.
Pretty common for the 4x4, it's truly as straightforward as it looks. Some folks do switch to the 2WD U-bolts afterwards so there's not so much thread dangling below. It wont get you perfectly level, for that you will want some lowering shackles as well, but that also needs a wedge shim to...
Really craved that good V8 sound, but didn't want to spend $1k+ for it. B2 Fab seemed like the perfect quality/budget option. The store specifically lists incompatibility with a single cab (as of 3/12/25), but turns out only due to never having one to test fit with. After a quick email and a...
Definitely happy with the FP kit, I doubt you would know the difference unless you were test driving 2 back to back. Its an absolute menace with the weakest tune of the pack. I do know the upgrade packages will still work, but I dont think the value vs gain is there. Counterpoint though...
Pawn shops and ebay are always great for torque wrenches. I buy em used and get them re-calibrated by a local place for $50. Precision Instruments and Proto are my go-to brands.
On an aside, PI torque wrenches are real nice. They are even fine to be put away at high settings unlike the twist...
Just picked it up from the local dealer, they said a batch of 50 was sent nationwide. Went with the Ford Performance version, but whipple is shipping them with the 6th Gen now. Never had something with this much power, and I can't believe how well behaved it is with a light foot. Catch can...
I forgot a step, obviously. Why stop a project when it's done? Can't be driving around with an un-lockable seat bottom.
Tools needed: Torx T20, T50, trim tool, and motivation.
I struggled with adding the upper glove box for like 2 hrs, this may not happen for a few days days.
Got my new '25 RCSB, so of course before the first bank payment is due it's time to start modifying it. The work surface just isn't that great, especially since ford kneecapped the swing angle of the table. So $200 later and a new seat is acquired from eBay.
Surprisingly the swap was super...
