Bought my 2019 2.7 used. Cover was gone. No air filter. No cabin filter and door. Cost me $125 from Ford for the engine cover. Took me 1.5 hours to install a cabin filter due to non-working 77 year old body parts and those stupid plastic pins holding the glovebox door!

The manual says 6 quarts . I put in 6 quarts. Even discussing this is a waste of life energy. But if it really bothers you, install a ball valve drain plug. Makes it easier to control drain flow when changing the oil. Which I do myself. Been wrenching my cars for 60 years, worked in garages. and...

It didn't. Paid a shop $100 to throw the gasket away and use sealant. Cover was torqued according to specs. Big waste of money and still had my truck out of service.

Got the gasket. cleaned every surface. Took it to mechanic for other servive and the gasket was leaking. It was torqued to spec when installed. Paid $100 to get it resealed. Gasket was waste of money.

Ran cable on my F250 this route. Worked well and not much effort.

Where can I get an 8.8 12 bolt gasket? I see a lot of 10 bolt listing but none for the Super 8.8

I DID find out I have a Super 8.8 12 bolt after I crawled under the truck.
