Thanks, I’m at the lowest setting now. I had to clearance the bed slightly for the lowest setting to work. It’s very low though, I’m considering raising the truck up 3/4-1”
Did you try running the truck without changing out the TCCM? I disconnected my e-locker and everything is working fine so I'm not sure why I would need to replace the TCCM or switch. If I do press the button to lock the diff or put in the Offroad drive mode, it does say that to service the rear...
Cold start is a little aggressive with the exhaust valves open after installing the SPD y-pipe with high flow cats. I'm considering going back to a stock catback if it's not going to restrict the supercharger too much.
Also finally got a couple shots of the current look, I don't think...
Got the install done Monday, took me around 20 hours start to finish over the course of three days. Yesterday I got my tune from Whipple but I ended up getting a bad Tomahawk and rather than send it back and wait for the replacement, I got up early this morning and made the 2.5 hour drive down...
I finally got my Whipple! I went with the stage 2 kit with bigger injectors & throttle body. I’ll be running a flex fuel tune from Preaux Tuning. I started tearing into the truck today, got about half way through the 52 page instruction manual. I’m hoping to finish the install Sunday but I won’t...
I ordered an Eaton and I'm wondering if I need to change out any modules or do any Forscan reprogramming to avoid dash lights or issues. My 2024 has the 9.75" factory e-locker.
@rugedraw I would like to be added to the list please. I may be able to work something out with @DMS11X to avoid a round of shipping. I’m not far from Sacramento.
@SC_Curt did you notice any difference in the end link lengths? I had to extend the driver side link about 3/4" longer than the passenger side. I tried adjusting the axle mounts but that didn't change things much at all. I have the same setup, Ridetech kit with the traction bars and rear sway bar.
Originally I went with a Rockford Fosgate 8” powered sub. It fit behind the seat but it sounded like crap so I stuffed a JL 10” sub in an Atrend wedge box back there and got a cheap compact amp from Amazon. I figured if it was too tight I would just swap it over to the passenger side but I'm...
Finally got my Ridetech lowering kit finished up! This was a lot more work than I expected. There are a few small gripes I have about the kit but overall I'm happy with it, especially after taking it out for a test drive. No height or dampening adjustments have been made yet and I still need an...
One of the issues with that stupid filter drain tray is that it’s designed to let oil flow in both directions (forward and back) and standard oil pans aren’t big enough for both so you need two pans. My truck is stock 4x4 height and after slowly removing the filter I got oil dripping at the...
30 years working on cars. This V8 is the worst oil change I've ever done. There's a drain tray below the filter that, you would think, would direct oil flow forward. Instead, oil flows to the back of the tray, down onto the steering rack, etc. And the drain plug for the oil pan causes pooling on...
Figured it out with Forscan. The issue is that my dome light is disconnected and the passenger airbag indicator light is a part of that assembly. Plugged that back in and the light went out.
