    Alright. Got a call from the dealership. There seems to be an issue and an “exception” popped up on the order. Super Cab apparently can’t have the higher trim package (301A) and I can’t get the color I want without the higher trim package. Also some stray voltage about the seat configuration...

    Thanks. Trying to be super patient. Good idea to check nationwide inventory. I think my hang up is the crew cab and XLT. I travel for work a lot and stopped by a dealer in Mobile AL to see what they had. If I had to I would drive it home. :)

    Do you all think or know if Ford builds in trim level batches. Seems like King Ranchers and Lariats are in build but XLT or STX are not yet. Also does the body type get built in batches? I know alot of people don’t like the super cab set up but I really do and it’s part of my order.

    I am still waiting on a VIN. It’s been awaiting scheduling with no exceptions for two months. Ordered it 9/18/24. Luckily my old girl (2010 F150 XLT) is running fine so I can afford to be patient.

    Thanks for the post. Where do these scheduling notes come from? I ordered an F150 XLT 4X4 on 18 September, and my dealer received a "thanks for your patience" e-mail on 13 Dec. From the note in the thread, it looks like the 5.0L engine may be holding things up.
