Sorry to yet again bump an old thread. On a 22 platinum f150, is the ebay latchlid kit still the preferred method?

In my case, I'm pulling a 6k 22' MDC travel trailer, tongue weight is right at 580lbs. Driving it is smooth. BC is like lkellar said. Terrifying. Other have had luck.. it seems like it's worth the $1k gamble to me. Does the Comma ever go on sale? :D

Is anyone using this while towing? BC likes to induce wild ping ponging that causes trailer sway.. wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

Interesting. Maybe I was in normal vs tow mode. Never had an issue with engagement no matter what mode I think I was in. I had the trailer profile running and BC was trying it's best to roll my truck and trailer for sure!

Anyone towing with BC4? I've tried with my 22 PB with I assume 1.0 and it's tried to KILL me every time with the induced trailer sway with the way BC drives drunk between the lines. It's been terrifying. I'd even pay for BC if I could actually use it while towing.

Curious how you wired the bed side connector. I bought a dog bone and it keeps tripping the circuit breaker on the truck. I covered/disabled the ground pin and was able to make the system work. I obviously don't want to run it this way, but now I'm searching for how things SHOULD be wired...

I hate to be that guy.. but for some reason I can't import any of these dashboards into iOS 18.1. When I hit the file picker all of my files are unavailable to choose ( greyed out ) What am I missing?
