Ok, just finished up today. The mechanic said it's a break-in noise, and it should go away over time. Not very satisfying, but hopefully problem is solved in another 1000 miles.
Yeah I don't really listen to music when driving and prefer the wind to A/C normally so I suppose I'm predisposed to noticing it more. My local dealership noticed it too, so it does seem to be unusual. I'm going to see what they say on Friday and report back.

Yes, those "clicks" at the end are the noise. It is much louder in person but since it's coming from the rear axle it is hard to get on video from the driver's seat. Those noises aren't synced with transmission downshifts, and occur even when going straight at a constant speed sometimes. If they...
