I guess I was spoiled by my 2018 Mustang with the 2.3l EcoBoost with 10 speed auto. It never downshifted on the hills going to St Louis. I know it's not an apples to apples comparison.
I was traveling the Avenue of the Saints North of St Louis. The truck with cruise on throttles back/downshifts going down one hill, back to 10th at the bottom, then downshifts to 8th gear starting up the next hill and down 7th if the hill is steep. Rarely goes to 6th gear, but it has happened...
Mine would be down into 6th gear if the hill is very steep at 50mph. May look at a tune just see if it would help on the constant downshifting on a hilly road.
My 2025 Lariat turns on the side camera to the main screen when I am towing to show what is beside me. Can the camera be turned on with the flasher when I am not towing?
I ordered the black appearance package on my '25 Lariat. That dual exhaust is honestly louder than what I was expecting for a stock exhaust. Even my wife noticed and said "that sounds mean' when I punched it to merge into traffic!
Just brought home my new 2025 F150 Lariat 501, with the black appearance and FX4 packages. Love the truck, except that the WiFi won't connect to my home network. Anyone.else had this issue?
Ford sent me an email a month after I ordered the truck. Once I got the VIN from my dealer, I plugged that in and it shows each step in the process from order/build/ship.
The VIN will tell you what plant the truck is being built at.
Ford built my new Lariat last Wednesday, has been sitting in Kansas City for a week! Shouldn't be difficult to find a truck heading to Iowa.
Couldn't they use the self driving to have the truck drive itself to my dealer?!?! :)
I have a catch can on my 2018 Mustang with the Ecoboost engine. I drain about a 1/4 cup every 4000 miles. Only installed it because of the turbo boost and the direct injection.
A friend of mine has a 2020 Ecoboost Mustang that was filling the catch can every 500 miles. Dealer discovered a bad...
