The power increase and decreased overall truck temperatures under the hood make it worth it. With a supporting tune the truck spools so much faster. It is super noticeable.
still have the ticking. Only on warm up. Exhaust is on the lower heat shield which is the issue. Need to see what I can do...
My tires are as tall as I would go without more height. I didn’t want to create CV binding as I do wheel the crap out of it and sometimes still have a minuscule amount of body rub
21 XLT package.
Here is mine with 285/75r20 on factory wheels. Running a fox 2.5 kit. I also have airbags and icon replacement rear leaves to get rid of the mono leaf.
be really careful with the offset as the tires will get into your fenders. I should probably go up another 1/2” for better clearance.
I average around 15.5 mpg.
2021 3.5 ecoboost. Fox 2.5s is about a 2-2.5” lift. 35” tall e load range Falken wildpeak tires.
CV Fab intercooler and catted down pipes.
I think if I were to run it down the highway for a trip I would see about 21/22 mpg.
I also live in Colorado so up and down...
So only issue I am experiencing is there is some ticking coming from the slip fit on the passenger side and a carbon trail showing it. Anyone had this issue yet?re

Get your tickets now as they fill up fast for that time of year. It is a great experience. Remember the elevation change changes the temperature drastically. Shorts and t shirt at the bottom. Winter coat at the top. Or at least a jacket with some wind blocking...
OK, so I have a 2021 F150 XLT Screw with the 3.5 eco-boost. it has the fox 2.5 all around 35 inch tires and 355 gears.
I currently have the CV Fab intercooler and colder spark plugs. I am ordering the 170° thermostat and I am waiting for delivery of the CV Fab downpipe’s with cats.
I am planning...
Katskins acquired road wire. Sad day katskinz are not available to be shipped to you for your own install. They now require you to have their specified installer do the work.
A good limited slip can be a game changer off-road. They are also usually very good on road. I personally like an eaten true Track helical limited slip. The biggest tire they like to take care of though is a 35.
So the absolute best off-road traction device is a locker. Selectable lockers are amazing.
A full selectable locker allows you to have the best of both worlds. It will behave like an open differential in the ice and snow and will not affect handling in anyway around town. When you lock it...
I have done this with Bilsteins 5100 series front shock. It is the correct way to do it on those as the amount of preload at the higher settings can be enough to break the ring clip that holds the lower spring mount in position. Also bilsteins get really rough riding if you max out the spring...
I have had pretty much every brand of new or fancy tire in the last 25 years of driving trucks.
I loved my last set of tires. 285/70r17 Lt E tires on my 2011 F150 5.0. They were honestly the absolute best tires I had ever had. Great in the dirt. Great on the highway. Awesome in snow. Just all...
