yea, thats what i did to my truck.. but the guys here are asking about the 24 XL 12” cluster bezel fitting into 21-23 trucks which i already posted photos of.. the owner of the truck didnt wanna go and change the dash on the left side so we just trimmed the area that was not making the part...

I did this upgrade for a friend of mine.. we didnt find the top dash but we got our hands on a cluster trim bezel.. so we took the route of trimming the current dash and it snapped right in.. if your looking to save $600+ bucks.. Attached some picks after the install..
