  1. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Actually I'm not 100% sure. The harness plug comes up under the carpet for both the seat and the console. I didn't trace it all the way back up under the dash to see where it attaches to the main harness.
  2. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

As far as I could tell the harness was only to the buckle so I assumed it was just a seatbelt warning. There is no airbag directly in front of the seat so I cant see someone in the middle seat having any issue with them being deployed. Belt still locks based on being pulled, its not an...
  3. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

The trim would be the same as a truck with the jump seat. The process is also the same as swapping to the jump seat, just don't put the seat in. You'll have to double check the length of the harness to see if your USB charge and Keyless antenna will make it all the way up. You might be able to...
  4. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Luckily I only have 4 Kids! 6 total family members. I work from home so it was ok to have the truck down for a few days, and as you can see in the pictures I did most of the electrical in the house. That probably helped keep me out of the dog house since I could help with kiddos when needed...
  5. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Awesome! Thanks for providing that. I still think its wild they are so different from each other. I too used a few extras but I found getting the Molex crimpers really helped not messing them up.
  6. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Infotainment makes a custom harness that plugs in to the factory harness to do the column -> console conversion. The plugs would be the reverse when going from console -> column. Infotainment hasn't made the reverse harness yet but you can reach out to them and tell them you are interested...
  7. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

I would assume that as long as you source a column that has your options you should be OK. I would also do a quick search on here for people who have converted to a 502a and see what has to happen for wiring. If the wiring for those things is not part of the shifter harness itself, it should...
  8. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

There is not enough space under the console for anything. Mines not a hybrid, but I'm pretty sure all the consoles are the same, and there wouldn't be space. I have the onboard power and the inverter is under the passenger side rear seat.
  9. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Thanks! For the most part I poked around the posts of people going the opposite direction (seat -> console). There were a few posts that were helpful for wiring by already tracking down the pinouts. Hoestly this forum is has wealth of knowledge from people modding their trucks. For parts I...
  10. Just wanted to show off here for a little: 2021 F-150 Lariat 5.5 Build w/ homemade drawer system

Did you use silicone to seal the bed corners and wheel wells? I got seals for my tailgate but when installing them i noticed a lot of light coming through the corners, even with a spray in liner. That is the next part I'm going to seal off when I have time.
  11. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Rear A/C: The kiddos have not complained at all about the air. Yesterday it was over 100 and they asked me to turn it down and I wasn't even on max A/C! I've ordered the lower under seat vent extensions to help push more air up at them too but I don't think they are required yet(still waiting on...
  12. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Right now it's sitting on a shelf in my garage. I'm not 100% if going to keep or sell it yet
  13. Console to Jumpseat: The Quest for More Seating

Hello all! Lets go back to December 2021. I put in my order for a Carbonized Gray Metallic XLT, 302a, Sport 4x4. April of 2022 I take delivery of my custom optioned dream truck. At the time my family of 5 could fit in the truck with a console and it was ready for camping, off roading, and...
