Woke up this morning and got in my truck to go to work and I was shocked and amazed that the update scheduled over the weekend had fixed this issue. Pleasant surprise.

I'm glad to know I'm not crazy and just imagining it. I noticed the diminished output and overall bad sound quality when I picked up my truck from the dealership for an unrelated repair towards the end of April this year. Has a fix been figured out? Please advise....
