Thanks for confirming. I wonder if they have a different set of parameters for the Platinum (4A) drivetrain. I also used the EV coach when experimenting to see what the limits of regen were.
I have had the same experience with my 2022 XLT PB. Light braking force will bring regen limits all the way up which will cause the rear end to skid out if you are on a slight curve. Abs will kick in eventually and turn off the regen once it sees differential speed at the wheels but after the...
@Ford Motor Company , why has this safety issue not been addressed? I tried to escalate the issue with Ford corporate last winter. I was then told I need to have my local dealership escalate the matter, except they claim there is nothing they can do besides taking my truck off of the road for...
Engine bay has never been washed. According to the dealer injector 3&4 come from two different branches of the harness. Hopefully when i drop it off a third time they will do a more thorough inspection for a connector or wiring issue outside of what they have already done. The strange this is...
Sorry,
Casual daily driver with some light towing (2k pounds) once a month. 32K miles currently on the odometer. I run 87 octane from shell or mobile and using factory motorcraft oil / filter.
If it were fuel related wouldn't i be having faults on all injectors? Or randomly changing...
Looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience with their powerboost or 3.5L Ecoboost.
About a month ago I was traveling down the highway at steady speed and minimal engine load when I felt a large amount of vibration and shuttering from the truck. I had to continue to get to the closest...
Did more testing today on the way home. Interestingly, the bar showing available regen is almost non existent when in slippery mode and 4H. I'm shocked that they do not have the same setting for 2H in the same drive mode.
4A would be nice but I'm in an XLT so do not have the TOD transfer case.
I experienced the same braking characteristics of the rear end locking up and skidding out caused by regen brakes while driving in snow.
Driving in 2wd using light braking pressure, OEM goodyear Territory AT tires. No difference in regen braking allotment between normal mode and slippery mode...
