Dealer put it into their loaner fleet and it had a couple hundred miles when I bought it so I’m guessing the warranty must have started when they put it into service. Ford gave me an ESP to compensate.

Another question. My truck says I’m running sync 22230 build 546. It seems that version is pretty old, no? I’m also having an issue where FordPass isn’t updating my location, mileage, or fuel levels. I’ve also got a weird cloud icon with a line through it on my nav. Any idea what this could be?

@rugedraw are you able to check my VIN for updates sometime? 1FTFW1E80PKD17644 My truck was built in 12/22 but warranty started 6/23 when it was used as a service loaner and I bought it this month. Just wondering if I’m up-to-date since the truck sat for a while.

Thanks to everyone in this thread! I just completed this mod on my 2023 Lariat 501A and it worked perfectly! The hardest part was getting the blank plastic plugs out. I changed these 3 settings in the BCM. Both the switch and zone lighting controls work.

Keep me posted. I’d love to share a solution with my dealer to get this fixed. I drive on the highway 70% of the time and would have to get rid of that truck if this is normal behavior.

Did you ever get this figured out? My truck is doing the exact same thing. Dealer replaced both IWE’s and both hubs but it still makes the noise. They are trying to tell me the sound is normal for the PB…
