Teh
I REALLY like 5cyl's and love Audi's ownign several of them in the past. The B5 S4 was the German Buick GN back int he day!
The 67 is a pro-touring build with a completely custom chassis and suspension. I picked it up this year as an unfinished project which I am going to tear into...
Thanks, I am very familiar with the 200r4 and it is a great trans and can easily be built to handle a 1000hp drag car. But they do NOT hold up very well to a 600hp 3600# car on a 20 minute road course!!
In my case I literally melted it and on the front straight at Pitt Race. At 120mph it let...
Dakar09 love the 911! I really want to do more road racing it is an absolute blast and I enjoy it WAY more than drag racing that is for sure. Plus I am 20 minutes from Pitt Race. I have a pro-touring Ttype I have had on the track a few times. 200r4 is NOT happy though. I am building another...
Me too I should have bought these things a long time ago lol!!
I knew the stock tires sucked but when they were falling apart when getting dismounted it was obvious they were under rated for what I was doing. With no air in the bags the truck tows solid no issues what so ever. I have to...
Nice job, a 24' is really an ideal size and an aluminum one would be no trouble at all for a F150 with only a WDH. Which IMO it a must for any truck even a 3/4 ton. It distributes the weight better and takes the load off the front axle of the truck making braking and handling all better. This...
It does have a unique sound I always liked. Pretty pissed off V6 lol!
Here is the car at Bradenton on Day 2 of Sick Week it was neutered to make a A to B pass this is without the exhaust with just a turn down.
This is a pass from Sick at the Rock with a full exhaust

Thanks for the feedback Chuck, I am going to order a set of the Geolanders and will report back once I tow with them.
I need to get another year out of this set up and I am going to get a SD. If it was just local stuff I would stick with this set up but we never do anything local. We may...
I thought of that but its also a PIA. Plus the MPG towing is what I most concerned about. Not towing from Ohio I can make to Gainesville Florida with one stop in Charlotte for gas. That's 940+ miles with one stop. Add the trailer and that is now 5-6 stops. I just dont want t make it worse...
Thanks for the feedback guys
First of all if it were in anyway unsafe I wouldn't be doing it. I have owned diesels and a one ton dually and have been towing race cars and trailers for 30+ years. I take towing and the equipment very seriously. I am not grossly over loading the truck I am...
I really like my F150's and this is my 4th one. When I jumped back into racing I had ordered a new SD but at the time you couldn't get them and I needed a new truck so I broke down and got another 2023 Lariat SCREW in November 2023. I added rear airbags, 2" level kit and Boost Tow mirrors and...
My head is spinning trying to figure out which mirrors to get.
I have a 23 Lariat 502 with
Pwr Fold
BLIS
LED Lights
Heated
Signals etc
No 360 degree camera
I wanted to order the ML3Z17696DA mirror set from Fairway Ford but they told the is NO tow mirror option what-so-ever for my truck...
My Andriod Auto constantly loses connection and I can not access the app to reconnect it unless the vehicle is stopped or moving less than 10mph. Is there a way to shut this off with Forescan? I have a cable and have done other small things like add the bed lights in the BCM.
I have a 23 with 6k miles and the trans acts weird at times. It definitely has the occasional clunking and other complaints I have read about but it also has this weird thing it does when I put it in gear and take my foot off the brake it will stay in park until I hit the gas. It doesn't do it...
Nothing aerodynamic about a Buick that's for sure. That pic was from Sick Week at OSW which unfortunately did not go so well for us but we got a lot sorted out on the car. I will be at Drag Week in Sept and plan to be back at Sick Week in Feb 25.
To keep the post on topic (especially since OP...
My 2011 and 2014 did not have air bags
The red 2016 above had E load range tires with Bilstien Stage 1 suspension
The 2023 is all stock except for the air bags and leveling kit.
I've been hauling race cars and enclosed trailers around with a 3.5 F150 SCREW since they came out in 2011! I just towed a new 28' enclosed with my new 23 F150 to Florida from Ohio for Sick Week and it did really well. Here is me experience.
There are zero downsides to towing a 24' enclosed...
