I drove about 640 miles on the highway with my 5.0L for a road trip and got about 24mpg averaging this speeds. Hoping to do the same on my way back today
Got my OEM ones through Fairway Ford and received them next day in SE Michigan. https://www.fairwayfordparts.net/oem-parts/ford-2021-f-150-oem-genuine-ford-heavy-duty-rear-wheel-well-house-liner-kit-new-ml3z9927886a
Completely missed the blue box on my phone lol. Didn’t realize they actually listed the averages. Will see where I land with my 5.0L when I fill up this weekend.
Looks like for 2019:
2.7L: 988,851 miles of driving, the 2019 Ford F-150 gets a combined Avg MPG of 18.45 with a 0.12 MPG margin of...
Again you miss the point. OP only has the option for 2.7L and 5.0L at his local dealers. This wasn’t a “What’s the best engine in your opinion” post. This was a, “Which out of these two engines should I get” post.
As far as price, I’m going based on the build and price tool on Fords website...
I did the math. It is a $3800 upgrade for the powerstroke over the 2.7l. If you assume all highway miles, the 2.7L getting 24mpg and the powerstroke getting 30mpg, and 30,000 miles a year (which most people will never hit), then it would take 7.5 years for the diesel to pay for itself. 15 years...
How much drone is there in the cabin on the highway with the 5.0l? Trying to wait for the corsa or borla systems but might give in cause I want my truck sounding like a mustang lol
The ESP only covers issues that would normally be covered under the standard warranty times, just longer. You can purchase a maintenance plan if you would like through the dealer. I did this on a car a couple of years ago. My understanding was that you could only use it through the dealer you...
Let us know how the fitment is. If that flange you mentioned works, I may go head and order the corsa system for the previous gen and the flange and then get a local shop to modify it for me
Thanks for the feedback on the magnaflow. Sounds like its definitely not for me, that would make my 1000 mile (each way) road trips even worse. From what I heard online, the Corsa sport exhaust on the previous gen truck had zero drone. here’s the video.
Thanks. I do plan on waiting a bit, don’t want to rush and get something I don’t like. Corsa is on the top of my list followed by Borla and AWE. Hopefully they release soon, I’d rather have something plug and play. Corsa did say they haven’t started yet though which stinks
I was looking at the touring and S-type. The sound really good. I’m hoping they drop soon cause im itching for an exhaust. They are at the top of my list with the corsa systems
Trying to decide what exhaust to go with for my 5.0L and was hoping you all could help me decide. I know not all manufacturers are available yet but am willing to wait.
What I am looking for is something with NO DRONE, I drive 1000miles each way to visit family and drone would make the trip...
