  1. What kind of MPG mileage are you getting with your Powerboost?

Approaching 1000 miles with a 2” level and 275/65/20 BFG KO2s which add more than 12 pounds of unsprung weight per tire, my experience has been city mileage (hand calculated) in the 21-22 range due to electric miles and highway mileage at 18 if I drive 80mph and 20 if I drive 70mph. I’m...
  2. 26% of miles so far are electric only on PowerBoost!

Totally agree. This was more of an observation and not really a test. I figure I’ll actually test on the 3rd or 4th tank when most of the idling for playing/learning is done and the engine is a little better broken in.
  3. 26% of miles so far are electric only on PowerBoost!

I'm not sure and its a great question. Seems like they don't in the trip calculator which goes along with the MPG display- it says "electric driving" and doesn't show a number when you are all-electric. But I also can't imagine the EPA numbers do not include electric miles. Anyone with a...
  4. 26% of miles so far are electric only on PowerBoost!

Here’s my first (almost) 100 mile experience. Exclusively suburban driving so far, with a decent amount of rolling hills on my daily commute that do support lots of coasting. About 5 miles and a decent amount of idle time were by the dealer before delivery which I am sure is impacting MPG. I’m...
  5. Windshield Recall: issued for 2021 F-150 Windshield Adhesion Issue

Great question. Just like there are mechanics and body shops that cut corners, there are glass shops that do the same. In general, though, any reputable shop should be more than capable of managing an R&R on an F150. There’s not an issue of parts quality and there is little, if anything, unique...
  6. Windshield Recall: issued for 2021 F-150 Windshield Adhesion Issue

My family owns an auto glass company and this is actually not uncommon. This is an R&R (remove and reseal) which will re-use the existing windshield. When done by a reputable/experienced installer, there is little risk of damage to the windshield or vehicle. I'd be surprised if the dealer...
  7. Produced-in-January-and-still-waiting Club

Well, here's what I got in a history report from the dealer today. They are more confused than I am- the truck has been sitting at the rail yard here in KC since 2/5 and is not scheduled for release until 3/7. They have reached out to someone in Ford corporate shipping logistics to see if they...
  8. Produced-in-January-and-still-waiting Club

Add me to the frustrated club. Ordered 9/28. Built at Dearborn 1/22, shipped 1/28. Original ETA was 2/15. On 2/16, new ETA became 3/7 (19 days later). My sales guy has always been in awe of the tracking info I had (he had never seen even the shop.Ford.com Amtrak we before) but today I finally...
