Im obviously in the minority with my opinion. I had tow mirrors on an XLT and did not like them- 1. No auto dimming so blinded when towing my boat in the dark and someone was behind me. 2. Manual fold (on XLT) which is a PIA when parking in a parking lot and not wanting to get them banged on...

A Platinum BAP might be a compromise. Has the hood vents, blacked headlights etc, and black dual exhaust. If you go that route stick with the 3.5 eco. I have this but with the 5.0 and it grunts pretty good.

How about a headlight polish kit? They are made to polish scratches and haze out of the same plastic.

Whats the reason for not wanting liners? I went with Husky and have no complaints. For and spray on your gonna have to remove the wheel, scuff and or clean, tape off, etc. And then the fronts will still be whatever the oem is.

I know almost nothing about tooners except everyone is spelling it wrong :) Serious question for a "tuner" newb - do they have to remain plugged in all the time.....and if not how does one go between multiple tunes?

This would have saved me. In June I got an XLT. Traded it for a Lariat in July. Then finally a Platinum in August. Then again, I have a problem. I joke that I am a member of the Truck Of The Month club. Maybe not only a member but the president as well.

Are you sure you are comparing apples to apples? I see you mentioned 5W50. Spec calls for 5W30. Might explain the big discrepancy in price.

Bought this new 1 month ago for my XLT. Traded the XLT last week (Platinum w/BAP) and it wont work on the new truck. This works on 21+ Ford F150 (not dual exhaust). Mounts to the driver side using 3 existing bolts. Northern Maryland not far from the PA line. $250

See if either place has security cam footage. Unlikely but worth a try. Fixing it right (like new) will more than likely be more than your deductible. BTW, this should not affect your insurance rates since it was a hit and run. Insurance will probably require a police report. The same thing...

Thats kinda my question, does the factory do ppf? I know you can get pieces under ford accessories but that would be after the fact.

Long story short - I traded my XLT for a Silver Platinum BAP. It also has the high package. It appears to have PPF on some of it. Mirrors and front bumper for sure. It's not listed on the sticker nor can I find anything on the Ford website that its included. It appears to be factory as it is...

Hi All, Does the driver side tow mirror on the XLT auto dim? When you go to Ford.com and build it -it does not say it dims but it does when you build a Lariat. FWIW I have the tow mirrors on my XLT and it has been hard to confirm one way or the other. Thanks
