It is a 'curb weight' adjustment.
It affects front and rear at the same time
You cannot adjust front and rear separately.
Essentially what you are doing is telling the computer that the curb weight of the truck has changed, and that it needs to compensate for that.
I also added a 1" lowering...
OK, something changed in my software to allow me to access the Kg values.
Not sure what happened, but there it was in the VDM moduel:
2022 Limited 3.5
Curb weight = 715kg
Curb weight = 1598
It now allows me to double click on each value and change them.
I tried changing to 900 / 1984 ...
I see in your spreadsheet the factory code for the stock weights, but I do not see a replacement code for the new weights.
In other words, the stock weight of 750kg is coded as O2EE, and the stock weight of 525kg is coded as 020D
Now, moving over to the 20% weight increases, I do not see...
Actually, this is not true, in CA. Many people have sued for the F150 transmission issues causing stuck throttle and dangerous downshifts on the freeway, and won.
The problem is, 'winning' means you get 40-60% of you money back......the rest goes to lawyers.
This is my 3rd F150, and it is the worst driving/running vehicle I have ever owned, by a wide margin, so far. That includes Silverados, Ford Transits.
I still can't see how to enter in the values in the VDM module to get the suspension to change.
All the other module change tutorials show the...
I have a early build 2022 Limited.
I have unplugged the right rear shock, and it is a noticable improvement to be sure, but it's still a bit stiff for the beat up Los Angeles streets.
I have a rear sway bar on order too.
Hopefully the appointment with Ford in October will address my issues.
OK, thanks, I understand.
But what I DON'T understand, is what values do I enter into Forscan to make the suspension changes ?
I have been looking at GMC trucks for the last month. I can't live with this suspension much longer ! Switching to Sport on the freeway is fine, but around town the...
You can see in this photo that the Modules are on the left, and then there are incremental change columns on the right.
When I open my Forscan, I do not see the right columns.
What do I need to see them ??
I am able to make changes the the modules by changing numbers in the three blocks.
....but I am not able to change anything incrementally, in the VDM module, to modify the suspension settings.
I can't see the extended lines for each module with the Forscan I have.
No ability to make incremental changes in values like weights.
Do I need a different version or update?
I loaded the Forscan into my Laptop three days ago. Version 2.3.55
