  1. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

I put a leveling kit on mine to raise the front. I prefer the higher ride height which works out perfect when I'm towing one of my cars to a show. That's just my preference. I do like the reverse level as well. It's not completely out of the question in the future. I've attached a photo of...
  2. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

Thank you! I looked at going with those tire dimensions but just liked the way the Michelins looked and in case I decided to lower the truck down a notch or two.
  3. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

Yes sir I was there. And I do you remember your car as well. Love the red with black rims. Hoping to have my 92 Notch back from resto-modification next week. Looking to change the wheel and tire setup from 18's to 17's. What's your wheel and tire setup on your LX? I like those rims. What brand...
  4. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

I do plan on doing that in a few weeks, when everyday is Saturday for me (aka: Retirement).
  5. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

I think this truck I saw at my daughters college this weekend would get that video spot before I would :-)
  6. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

I did not but I can assure you the stock wheels and tires are heavy to me. I've been chucking around 1989 and 92 Fox Body tires the last year. And they are nothing compared to these larger wheels and tires. Of course my 92 LX does have 18 inch rim and tires :)
  7. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

I did look at other sizes and decided on the lower profile because I'm leaning more towards removing the front level kit and removing the rear block. The LX is finishing up a complete 8 month overhaul with rebuilt motor. Just rebuilt it back to stock to begin with and may do some upgrades in...
  8. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

Thank you. I just drove 200 miles to my daughters college and they rode fantastic. You do feel the bumps on some of the side roads. But that's to be expected.
  9. Purchased 22" Ford Performance Wheels for my 22 XLT

No. The only thing I did prior was install the 2.5inch leveling kit. I did that a while back. The new wheels and tires bolted directly on just like the factory wheels. No mods needed.
  10. Purchased 22" Ford Performance Wheels for my 22 XLT

Here ya go..... I love them....
  11. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

I respect that. Everyone is entitled to their own ways of spending money. I also have two Fox Body Mustangs. The money I have in those make my new wheels and tires look like an oil change :)
  12. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

Thank you. Rims: $1730 - Stage 3 Motorsports Tires: $1362 - Tire Rack Mount and Balance: $142
  13. Before & after with new Ford Performance 22" inch wheels + Michelin Defenders 305/45R22

I finally got my new 22 inch Ford Performance wheels mounted on the truck today. The tires are Michelin Defenders 305/45R22. They ride very well and no noise. I'm not an off road guy and pondering the idea of having the front level removed and drop the rear to remove the extra space. But another...
  14. Purchased 22" Ford Performance Wheels for my 22 XLT

I purchased some Michelin Defenders 305/45R22 to start out with. If I decide to change the truck height, it's only going down from where it sits now. This is a scale photo of what they will look like. Not too bad to start out with.
  15. Purchased 22" Ford Performance Wheels for my 22 XLT

What size tires are you running on yours? This is beginning to be my biggest decision problem now. I'm not an off road person so preferring to stick with all season tires.
