I ran the 2.0s on my last half ton (2018 Sierra) for a long while when I first got it and they ran like a champ.
they seemed to be a little soft for towing, but they’re great shocks!

Yes they can. You don't need a lift kit.
The fox coilovers can be used on a stock truck, however, they will lift the front about 2". So you'll need an alignment once you install them.
