The similar engine in the mustang is rated at 460ish crank. The main differences between them are the added MDS system and the change to a belt driven oil pump. They likely have different cam profiles and intake, but are both 12:1 engines. That being said, ford left a lot on the table. As tuning...
So, I got bored and decided to look at the headlight to see if there were actual adjustment screws. I didn’t expect there to be any due to the active movement, but as it turns out there is! I was able to correct mine with a few turns of a screwdriver.
I’ve been having the same issue since I leveled my 502a lariat. I think the sensors are going out of range, and throwing the projectors all the way down.
I’d guess most people aren’t seeing this, because they went with 2-2.5” levels. I did the eibach leveling springs, which fell out around...
We installed the Corsa sport kit today. I can confirm that everything fits except for the slip joint. Ford increased the pipe diameter from 2.5” to 2.75””. We cut off the 2.5” reduction and welded in a 2.75” reduction.
Yeah, I used the Lamin-X cut to fit tint, and trimmed it so that the DRL is still white. Hard to catch with the LED flicker on a camera, but it came out good
I like the bulkhead solution for the block heater. That looks much cleaner and easier to use.
I don’t have the light brackets in yet, but here’s how It looks now. I have six Rigid DXL lights that will be split between the a-pillar and bumper opening. Thanks again for the swap!
In the vast majority of late model applications , a cold air intake will do very little or actually hurt power. OE manifold and intake design has progressed significantly in the past decade. Outside of headers, you’re not looking at a significant power gains from basic bolt-ons.
That being...
The only difference from 15-20 to 21 is the flange on the y-pipe faces the opposite direction. All hangers and routing are the same. Many have installed the other kits by removing the flange from the factory exhaust and welding it to the new kit.
some other options like the DB or corsa kits do...
I think it largely depends on the height of the level. I used 5100’s and the eibach springs, so it’s around 2.7”. I only get the fault under heavy acceleration as the front suspension unloads.
I know this is a fairly common issue for people with the adaptive headlights. My question is the fix. Is it as simple as having the dealer calibrate them or a hard reset? Thanks in advance.
