I have not noticed any change in driving functions. The only difference was looking out the front window you can tell you are up 2" if that makes sense.

295/70/18's will not fit without a level kit. You will need to trim some plastic from the front and fiber board from the rear of the wheel well. You might even have some rubbing on other parts. 295/70/18's with a 2" level fit perfectly. You may have SOME rubbing on the plastic front fender...
2" Readylift level kit installed. Definitely can tell a difference in the ride only optically, can tell I'm riding higher. I have 295/70/18 Nitto Recon Grappler's being installed right now, will throw some more pictures up once its done.
Update. 295/70/18's did not fit on the stock setup. The front rubbed quite a bit on multiple spots. Tomorrow I'm having the dealer install a 2" ready lift level kit. I was going to install the kit myself but after actually looking at performing this work it seems multiple parts of the hybrid...
