My theory is that the system is designed to adjust for payload, so it adapts to differences in the rear but not the front. I don’t have any info to support that other than anecdotal experience though.
Here is a photo of the button (ML3Z-13D730-KA) installed on my Lariat with the 12” screen. This button is the traction/hill descent button, not the hazard/hill descent. Apologies for the poor lighting.
Has anyone found a way to force the DRLs on while the truck is in Park and the lights are set to Auto? I understand that true DRLs are only supposed to engage while in gear but I’d prefer to have them on all the time.

I just completed the install on my 2022 Lariat and it went smoothly. Only small thing was I had to remove the two pieces of trim on the sides of the center console to get the climate controls out which wasn't in the PDF.
