Same story here. Waited 6 months for delivery, status kept showing 3/18 delivery, shows up on dealers lot yesterday. Told him I wanted to complete the deal after the March incentives come out. His response was 'no problem'.
Mine just came out of production. Excellent link from BlueOval forum.
Built dot changed to a checkmark.
Date added to Built status.
Date added to Shipped status and dot now has a ring around it.
Delivery date has stabalized to 3/18/2021
Showing built! Changes shown today -
Checkmark and date added to Built column status.
Date added to shipped.
Looks as though it's going to take 18 days to get my built truck on the train.
No change in date of Est. Delivery
This is the timeline for the manufacture of my special order. Delays in the order may have been caused by the early order submittal, Ford needing to stock dealer inventory first and the options I selected. I would expect wait times should be getting shorter for new orders.

I'm looking at the official Ford status screen. The date pops up a few days after the status changes to 'scheduled for production'. I am guessing that when the date shows on the status screen is when it is actually be manufactured. I'm getting tired of hitting the refresh button. Please let this...
My build date was the week of 2/1/21. Status screen's 'scheduled for production' was recently updated to show a date of 2/5/21. Waiting on status to show built. Status screen now shows
Welcome!
Your 2021 F-150 XLT is estimated to be delivered to Penske Ford. in 31 days.
My truck has a scheduled production weekend of 2/1/2021. Last weekend the status screen showed a change in status to 'scheduled for production'. Looking at the status screen on Saturday I noticed that there is now a date under the title.

Same here, SuperCab, 8' bed, max payload, max tow, 4x4. Not a configuration you can find on a lot. It has been a 7 month process but finally got the notice on my status screen -
Welcome!
Your 2021 F-150 XLT is estimated to be delivered to Penske Ford. in 33 days.
Got it through the costco...
My F-150 was scheduled for production for the week of 2/1/21. Midweek before that date the window sticker link was added to my status screen. Today, at the end of the scheduled production week, status is still in scheduled for production, but today a new update appeared that said -
Welcome...
Update:
Midweek before the scheduled production week a window sticker link was added and status changed to "scheduled for production".
Watched all week to see if any status would change, which it didn't.
Today, Saturday morning, 2-6-21, the screen still showed "sceduled for production" but Ford...
That means you do not have a scheduled production slot. Look at the dealers status screen. If there is a production week scheduled you will have a VIN assigned.
Bummer. Ask the dealer what the "production week" is. If it dosen't show in the dealer display then you have not been slotted for production. The customer tracking site does not show the production week, nly the dealer can tell you! Have him email the Ford Rep and ask what's going on with your...
Just spoke with my sales rep at Penske Ford. He said their business model is to be a low price / high volumn dealership and for them to be the low price leader in the San Diego region. They are all paid a flat salary and compensated on volumn not profit margin. He says I qualify for all current...
Same long long wait here. It appears as though the VIN is generated when they have a production slot. No VIN probably means they have a supply issue for a particular option. I would expect the dealer status screen to show a "production week" assigned since you have received a VIN. Customer...
This is what mine looks like. Ask him to give you a printout with the Invoice column displayed as shown on mine to the right of the MSRP. Interesting how different or the lack of process is for the two different costco dealer referals. I have some questions for my dealer.
I'm totally looking forward to the options!
Do me a favor. Ask for the Costco price and see what he says. Then we can compare notes. I'm always looking for the best deal and will swing either way.

Excellent. So if what I can tell from my timeline, that means that a production week has been scheduled for you. Ask for a screen shot like my dealer provided me of the "Scheduled Week of Manufacture". Not to bum you out, but my wait has been two months. My worry now is that they might change...
Not that I know of. VIN will not be generated until order has been accepted. And my saleman said he had to get the manager to look at it. Must be tightly controlled. Call the sales manager direct.
