Thanks for the words and advice, everyone. I still have a few dealerships in my area to reach out to, but Ford has also reached out as well, and I'm taking them up on trying to help get this resolved quickly. Will definitely follow up for anyone else interested in the outcome!

This is extremely frustrating. Trim on the driver's side rear door window is starting to separate from the truck. Custom ordered last year, got it late last December. Called my dealership and others, and No dealership in town can even look at it until September at the earliest due to backlog...

Finally took delivery! I need to take a lot more pictures, but the wait was with it. Loving the truck so far! Updated my response to the poll.

Done! It's en route now, Dealer says it's been scanned in my city, so anticipate delivery (literally) any day now!

I awoke to the email this morning confirming that my truck has been built! Fingers crossed that I don't run into the shipping problems some of you had. I hope we're all in our trucks very soon!

Well, it's been Day 47 since I last heard officially from Ford, and got this today: I'm (safely, I feel) guessing that the information my dealer gave me last week about delivery of my truck is erroneous. :mad: ? At this point I'm starting to wonder if I'll even get my '22 in 2022.

Dealer called me, they show a delivery date between 10/12 and 10/18. Ford’s website still shows it as just “in production” though. I’m crossing fingers this delivery date range is accurate!

Thanks! No, I ordered a 5.0. It’s a bit of a soft regret I’m starting to have, but at this point I’m just ready for my new truck!

New guy here! I ordered my new Platty back on 5/13, and had a build date of 8/15. How are you guys contacting Ford for a status update? My dealer has no info on the status (only that it’s submitted). I have a VIN and window sticker.
