Finally got our new (to us) F150 Scab setup for camping days. Installed the Billie bars and our Pelican cargo case.

Do you know the differences on the rear axle? On my 2022 Maxtow KR it's a different part number from the one in the Scab. The part number on the HDPP ends with HD. Not sure on the actual difference tho.

It's an XL with extra features that basically equate to 101a package. I just never see XL trucks with 360 cameras. Whomever ordered this truck back in 2022 was really intentional/specific in the options he added.

Apart form all of the other stuff that @JExpedition07 posted the leaf springs are actually thicker comparing to my Maxtow King Ranch. Rear suspension compression when I tow my RV with the king ranch is about 2in and 3/4. Compression with the Scab HDPP is less than two inches. Same travel trailer...

Cuz I don't need to tow 18000 lbs, my trailer only weighs 8k loaded and that truck is literally twice what I paid for this Scab with HDPP. Not even in the same realm of budget or capabilities.

I just added 2 extra batteries and one more solar panel from stock. We have 4 x 400w solar panels and 3 x 240 aH lithium batteries with a victron 3000w inverter and controller. It's been enough to last us about 4-5 days on cloudy days and on sunny days the batteries usually get topped off to the max

We have 1600 watts of solar and 720 lithium we should be good for most everything except AC longer than a couple hours. Also, we can now carry a generator in the bed without worrying about payload.

It’s been good so far, I really like how versatile it is and the sturdiness kind of surprised me. I wish it had rail integration like retrax but with a little bit of customization and the billie bars I like the combo. Only complaint I have are the corner end caps, one has fallen off already hut...

Works pretty good, goes under the first bar with no effort. If I need to put something all the way in the back of bed instead of rolling cover into a circle I roll it a bit more spaced out in an oval shape and it rolls all the way back.

The fork mount is from rocky mounts and the rear tire is made by Billie bars. They work ok but I’m eventually going to change to a one up rack mounted on the bars.

Me and the wifey took a trip there last year and have been dying to go back ever since. Compared to other NPs Big Bend is so underrated. The night sky's, hikes, off roading, mountain biking and over vibe is just better than some more well know NPs in my opinion.
