I had the same issue at about 500 miles too. Took about 2 weeks at the shop. It’s pretty brutal. The new part is upgraded - must have had a ton of problems with the initial part.

Wanted to give you guys an update. I am in need of part ML3Z 11A213 B - an alternator for the auxiliary battery. Apparently mine overheated 500 miles into owning the truck. The old part number ended in an A - so the B is the updated one. You guessed it, my Ford dealer tells me it is on back...

Did anyone else find a solution here? Brand new Lariat Powerboost has this same issue at 500 miles. I’m in the middle of a big road trip and am in a seemingly really tough spot… Engine runs fine but won’t kick into EV mode at this point.
