I like being able to monitor the trailer brake gain display when underway and applying the foot brake. I found that by going into the towing menu on the dash there is a submenu display showing an inclinometer and steering angle where the center portion of the same displays the trailer brake gain...
Are 18" wheels the smallest we can go? My spare is an 18" so I figured they would definitely work. Just wondering if 17's would as well. It used to be that winter tires were hard to get in certain sizes, or cost more if you could find them. I imagine that has probably changed by now as larger...
I'm interested in getting a set of take-off wheels for winter tires to put on my Platinum. I'll have my choice of wheels from the dealership since they do a lot of aftermarket work. Would you recommend going with 18" wheels? Any recs on good winter tires for the F-150?
My truck was finally delivered! See Post #435 for the delivery tracker status from Ford and PALSAPP. Literally overnight it went from pending that status to delivered and on the dealer lot. I actually scooped my salesperson who told me the day before it was still waiting on chips. Then yesterday...
My PALSAPP now shows a destination! But I still do not have the checkmark under the built column yet. So it must be waiting on something else to happen.
My truck's tracking status just updated yesterday. I had been in the 10/31 club prior to this update. I have not heard any word from my dealer yet. But this is encouraging. I only live a day away from Detroit by convoy.
I was a 4/24 build date. Still stuck with the dot and no checkmark on the Ford tracker. Still a 10/31 estimated delivery date. I don't bug my salesman much because he assures me he checks twice a day for updates and there are never any. But, he did call me out of the blue this week. Which is...
Pro tip there @DeliveryJay ! I went back and looked and although the vehicle description is wrong, when I drilled down into the PTI info it looks like my truck.
I appear to be missing only one, a "VDM 721" is "null." Whatever that is ⁉
I'll mention another adjustable drop hitch I purchased this year.
Aluma-Tow (Uriah Products) makes a 2" shank hitch in either 6" or 8" drop
You can choose either polished aluminum or black painted stainless
They come with all 3 ball sizes
2 keyed alike locks so the shank and the ball...
Aside from here on the forum, where are you guys finding out about the order status as above? I have looked on shop.ford.com but don’t see this graphic display listed. I put my VIN in there but it doesn’t show up.
