Same here.
I’ve had about five times total I’d guess n the morning or first drive of the day it bogs out when I accelerate away from my driveway leaving the house. I wonder if that is related.
A lot I think was the resonance from the exhaust/cat and the infamous whine from the transmission.
Another interesting thing to see is the active air dam.
I mounted an old GoPro under the truck because I was curious to see how the 4H axles operated. Seems there’s a bit of misunderstanding out there. Here’s my 2021 5.0. Around 9:55 I turn on 4H to watch it operate. Then 10 seconds later I turn it off. Interesting to see it not disengage right away...
If you want good snow tires, I had good experience with Duratracs (speaking of GoodYear). they are expensive but if you need a good snow tire that is also AT, they are great.
I have the hancooks still on this truck. They suck.
Second time now this has happened to me. The first time it happened I sprayed off the truck to get salt and other grime off the suspension and so forth. After a few hours I drove to the store... when I came back out to my truck and started it, I get "Pre-collision Assist not available" great...
As one also from Indiana. Yes. I also agree with this. 55 mph country roads with snow drifting over roads where there are no trees and just a nope field makes slick spots. Some roads around me I’d wear out the solenoid if I was changing in and out of 4H all the time to accommodate for the slick...
I agree. I think it is over engineering at its finest. It doesn’t send the right data to other modules, like ABS so you loose traction control, anti-lock brakes, collision assist etc etc… just because you change the battery. I think it’s a little absurd. Everything relies on if the battery is...
Fixed.
Everything this morning is good after a one last surprise from the IPC not showing the battery icon this morning after sitting all night:
I turned the lights off next (as you can see they were set to Auto)
Still no battery light, I performed the BMS reset. After about 2 seconds the...
Thanks all!! Gonna sleep on it and see what happens in the morning!
should I charge the battery back up again overnight or anything before doing the bms reset? I’ve had it on for a while trying to figure this out.
did an ABS reboot. DTC comes right back.
