I'd guess there are some other factors as well. For example, I believe Ford employees and retirees have a higher priority than, say, John off the street

It's not so much that, it's all the VIN lookup requests which need to go to the server...I mean, eventually, someone there has to look at those and say "Uhh...didn't we disable this?" Wooo! Seems I'm truck 949 of 2895!

Same thing here. I just got off the phone with Ford, and, despite a build/blend date of Feb 2, the vehicle sounds like it's still listed as In-Production with a delivery date of ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
