  1. MBRP catback on 5.0 V8 - wow it’s loud

Hey fellas In a leap back to my youth and my foxbody days, I decided to go straight to the big boy and installed the MBRP 4” race exhaust. And like their video says- it’s “loud”. The install was simple. Had factory exhaust out in one piece in 15 mins. New one on in 30. Great quality! After...
  2. Does your 5.0 sound really loud on a cold start?

I have a 21 F150 I bought back in October. Lariat Sport, 4x4, 5.0, 2KW outlet, dual alternator, etc. It now has 6K. Since new, on a cold start, the drivetrain somewhere is really loud. Not a knock or rattle. It sounds like a cavitating pump / growl. As soon as it warms up, its quiet. Dealing...
  3. Have a case number with Ford over my cold start noise

My local dealer has been great- I’ve sent lots of videos and they have forwarded mine and one other to Ford engineering. But I’m running out of patience with wanting to get some resolution. Truck is an Oct build 21 5.0 502A Lariat. Every single cold start it sounds terrible. Hopefully my video...
  4. Cold start awful noise from engine / transmission- what is it??

Hello all. I have heard of the 10R80 transmission whine. And my truck has that from what I can tell after it warms up. But when I cold start, there is a loud "whirring" noise that completely drowns out the regular engine noises. I left work and our security guard stopped me and told me my truck...
  5. Thoughts on auto adjust headlights after level

Hello all. I had posted in another forum after the leveling kit install on my 2021 Lariat. It’s a 4x4 Sport 502A with the auto adjust headlights. Leveling kit was a 2” front and 3/4” rear. I then installed 275 65 20 Coopers. I’m super happy with everything as far as stance, ride, etc. And...
  6. 2021 carbonized gray Lariat leveled with 275 65 20

Hello all 2021 Lariat Sport 502A 5.0 3.73 4x4 purchased Oct 20. Mods: Husky floor liners and side steps from traded F250 AutoSpring level 2” front, 3/4” rear (replacement block) Rough Country hard trifold and bed mat Matching tint Dealer installed the level and I have no issues with the...
  7. Installed AutoSpring leveling kit

In my previous F150 life (had a 2012 and a 2014) AutoSpring was a very popular leveling kit brand. They are all steel and use an offset design to avoid coil contact with the control arm. I used their kits on both trucks. I ended up having their 2" spacer put on the front of my 21 but also their...
  8. 6800 rpm shift point?

So my new 21 F150 has 300 miles and I’ve been taking it pretty easy for break in. Yesterday I decided to see just how strong it was and wound out 2nd. To my surprise, the tach kept climbing. And climbing until I saw 6.8, the tach turned red, and it shifted. It pulls STRONG all the way through...
  9. Verified stock tires mph vs gps

Just sharing this as many are considering larger tires and effect on speedo. I have a new 21 Lariat 4x4 with the 20” rims and factory tires. Mph reads 1 mph faster than gps at 70 mph. Verified same result at 75 mph. Im adding a level and 295 60’s soon and wanted to get a “before” reading.
  10. Debating between Auto Spring and Rough Country level

Truck is a 2021 F150 Lariat 502A 4x4 Sport package with the 20" wheels. I traded a leveled 2018 F250 on 35's. In my past F150 life, I used Auto Spring leveling kits largely due to their all steel construction and offset design that keeps the A arm off of the coil. I'm going to run a 295 60 20 on...
  11. New truck and need help with rear leveling sensor with leveling kit

First post in this forum but long time Ford owner. Just traded my 2018 F250 Lariat for a 2021 F150 Lariat. Im usually on top of vehicle features before I buy, but i didn’t dig deep enough on this gen F150. Sure- the main points I knew going in, but in my usual methods, I’ve started to research...
