  1. Accessory part promotion snafu ?

I received promotional emails which offered a decent discount on accessory parts. Perhaps others here as well. As it turned out, I was in the market for the plastic bed liner tray (not the full drop-in). But when ordering, the website requires persons to select a Ford dealership to complete...
  2. Hopefully not, but missing undercarraige parts on 2024 FX4 Powerboost ?

First off, my new 2024 Powerboost is running great and its super awesome to drive. Absolutely love the technology, and many thanks to the folks on this forum as I try different driving modes to maximize mpg when not enjoying the thrust. But when I crawled underneath to investigate adding a...
  3. Regenerative braking question / mpg

Still on my first tank of gas with a spanking new powerboost, and have a few observations that I hope some folks can help explain. The displayed mpg is so far poor/bad compared to sticker. 19.4 mpg with about 40% highway and 60% very short trips around town for a total of about 347 miles so...
  4. Powerboost oil changes with talon skid plates

Very much hope that the powerboost folks with Talon's skid plates can share their opinion and thoughts. I bought a powerboost F150, want to protect the cats, but my days of doing oil changes are nearing the end. The talon trans/cat guard skid plate looks like a great option - except persons...
  5. Powerboost 7.2kw and 2.4kw outlet questions

I am really interested in the power boost for my next f150, but the power outlets have me confused. some 120v power tools have a startup power draw that is right around 2400kw or slightly more. But the 7.2 kw outlet circuit is 240v. Would these tools require some kind of voltage converter...
  6. Powerboost, Tire Size, Lariat vs XLT Question

I was comparing cost of ownership of 4wd XLT/302A vs Lariat with 3.5L powerboost based on DOE fuel cost calculator as personalized for obnoxious CA gas prices and 70% city style driving. Most persons here are probably familiar with this calculator, but it case not, the link is...
  7. 2024 height specs seem conflicting when comparing 2wd and 4wd

I am comparing the 2024 XLT crew cab specs with style side 5.5 bed for 2wd vs 4wd. Ground clearance is 8.5 vs 9.4“. 0.9” difference. But cab height is 75.6 vs 77.2. Open tail gate height is 32.9 vs 34.9” Seems odd that the difference in height isn’t the same, or very close to the same...
  8. Wow. Power seats very noticeably reduce driver leg room 🤪. Is there a work around ?

Have been driving basic F150 trims for many years, and wanted to treat myself to the advanced driving features of the 2024 XLT. Like the adaptive cruise and 4 camera views. But those options are only offerred along with power seats. So drove my XL with manual seats down to the local ford...
  9. Very basic locking differential question

Many thanks to all the persons who wrote about the pros and cons of open, limited slip, and locking differentials on 4WD and 2WD vehicles. The discussions were an awesome help as I plan to replace my old 2WD F150 having open differential with a newer model 2WD possibly equipped with the 3.55...
