Do we have one? If not, has anybody added one? Trying to add cooling capacity somehow, and cooling engine oil is just another way of skinning the cat.
Thoughts?
Since my powerboost is soon to be at ford getting a transmission rebuild, I’m leaning towards tweaking it a bit for greater reliability and/or maintenance. Suggestions?
I’d swap pans to something with a drain, but I read the MHT has no 3rd part pans for it. I’d add a fluid dipstick but don’t...
Sometimes, and seemingly only at first start/drive of the day, the transmission acts like it's in both reverse and drive when I place it into reverse.. The drive train is locked and is going nowhere. Considerable power will make it "lurch" and it will then reverse out. As I've become...
You gotta see this post to believe it, but here's the gist:
CT Truck Owner #1 (Named "dood"):
" Say, I've only got 1 spare foot of garage length, maybe I can't park it safely. Would it be OK If I park my CT outside?"
CT Truck Owner #2:
"Well you know how much they get rain spot's and...
@HammaMan
Someplace, and I cannot find it again (WTH?) HammaMan shared a link to a used 7.2 inverter at a great price. Which I just bought :)
Thanks Hammaman!
BTW, for some reason I can't search or even see older posts I've made, but I can see other very active posters. Something up with...
I averaged 23mpg while running 80mph. Did it for hours!
Mind you I had a 20 -25mph tailwind and was sucked up (adaptive cruise) to a enclosed trailer, but lets not bother with reality
Or, I can admit I got 14mpg on the way back running only 74mph into the same wind.
My point? Folks can...
Won't authenticate. Have latest FDRS, no network errors, etc. Just typical weekend error of "server authetication failer. No problem logging into forrservice.com, so account and password known to be fine, correct, etc.
Thoughts? Other than FDRS does this shit on weekends all the time...
Been learning a lot about PB, both as I considered buying one and now as an owner. Somehow I feel like there is more learning on this than on our Tesla!
There have been too many helpful folks to name them all, but I'd feel remiss if I didn't explicitly thank Snakebitten and Hammaman for...
Seems like I get in about once every 3 days. The rest of the time the test reports the login server test is down/failing. Down I guess. Again.
Suggestions? Phone number to call for support?
Thanks!

Bought a '22 F-150 King Ranch Screw because I really like the java interior color. Stock floor mats are unacceptable. Looking for suggestions. Two comments first:
1) The WeatherTechs in our '18 SCREW (tan) have not held up well. The fit was OK, and the protection adequate, but they stained...
Picked up my new-to-me '22PB KR in Cleveland yesterday. I'd rented a V-8 4x4 crew cab Ram 1500 from Budget as a one-way rental to get there. For a rental truck I ended up being really impressed. Part of that was the 20MPG average at 77-78mph for the <500 mile trip.
The PowerBoost? 16.7...
The question: Has anybody paralleled a Pro Power with a portable generator? (lets assume we all understand voltage and legs enough to get that right).
If this isn't obvious, rather than try to explain this for anybody unfamiliar let me start you here:
All About Paralleling Generators...
1) NEC requires a load or circuit intended for extended operation be de-rated to 80%. That's just fact. Your home A/C, as an example, will have wiring and breaker 125% of the projected load. Question: Does Propower have a duty cycle or continuous power limit, or did Ford design these...
While I continue to look for what is apparently a unicorn PB, sooner or later I'm going to have to compromise. Rapidly it looks like that means accepting a Propower-2.4. All the reading I've seen amounts to different versions of:
"it's not possible. I know this because..... OK, I don't...
A few comments to open this discussion, a few of which I’ll elaborate on.
Todays Powerboost architecture is a dead-end.
An Ecoboost driven generator is inappropriate.
Fords PB/NA frames, today, are too weak.
Ford doesn’t need a new design, they need to get their shit together and quite pissing...
I tried the "search in inventory" feature on Ford website. I got no matches for 100 miles using Chicago and st Louis both. Auto trader shows lots.
Sup?
Yea, you can sure screw up a PB payload wise, but short of really being nuts (and keeping the sunroof out of them) most seem to have 1430lbs or so of payload. That seems enough. Question: What am I missing?
My thoughts:
* I plan on towing a TT w/a max weight rating of 7klbs. Let's just...
I'm debating between ordering a new '23 and finding a good used '22 at the right price. Harder then you'd think, some of these guys think silly stuff about used. Anyway, I spotted this on a '22 Max Tow PB LB w/tow mirrors:
Worked pretty hard to get a great towing rig only to fumble at the...
