But this is more accurate to what it is used for.
  2. Bailing on the Powerboost, moving to a 3rd Gen Raptor

Yep. I knew something was up with it, but they just kept saying that my 11 mile commute to work was the problem and the truck was designed for longer runs to keep everything in the hybrid system charged. I put a battery monitor on it, and it was staying above 80%, which was the threshold they...
  3. Bailing on the Powerboost, moving to a 3rd Gen Raptor

Thanks for the information. It is always good to hear from someone who made the same switch. I was considering a Tundra as well based on their dependability, but it is so hard to beat the F150 interior. And, it's a Raptor, so there's that. As for MPG, I never for better than 16 around town in...
  4. Bailing on the Powerboost, moving to a 3rd Gen Raptor

My credit union had a better esp and cheaper. they’ve covered everything for me including cam phasers at 100k on the King Ranch I had before this Powerboost. Worth looking into. Not all are reputable, but the one I got had great feedback from my dealer.
  5. Bailing on the Powerboost, moving to a 3rd Gen Raptor

Thank you. That was it. I called my dealer and he pulled it for me. Truck is clean other than a muffler replaced under warranty and a loose fluid line when it was delivered. Appreciate the reply. Very helpful!
  6. Bailing on the Powerboost, moving to a 3rd Gen Raptor

I have one on my Powerboost. That is the only reason I have kept it this long. But with no limp mode and my multiple trips into the Rocky Mountains to fly fish away from cell towers, I do not need to take that chance anymore. It has definitely paid for itself, so I will be buying one for the...
  7. Bailing on the Powerboost, moving to a 3rd Gen Raptor

After being stranded for the 4th time in my 21 Platinum Powerboost usually due to random computer glitches, it is time to move on. I want to be able to use the extras I bought for the powerboost on the Raptor like my Diamondback HD tonneau, so I am sticking with Gen 3. I found a ‘21 with roughly...
  8. Speed sign recognition problem

I did not have this issue until the last OTA. When I drive on Hwy 80 in the dark, it sees the sign as 80MPH. No fun when you are in a 35 or 45 MPH zone and it decides to race up to speed. With full light or even evening light, it is not an issue. Just when it is dark, foggy, or heavy rain. So it...
  9. Am I eligible for BlueCruise module programming under Campaign #21G01 in 2024?

I'm in the same boat. I reached out to my local dealer (bought it from a different dealer) and he said they'd do it for me. The campaign is still an active CSP. He said it could take a ton of hours (18+) to complete it , so I would have to leave it with them for a bit. I bought it just as Ford...

Thanks for the input. I will keep pushing on my end.
  11. Request VIN Lookup Thread

As an update, I printed this and took it to the dealership I bought it from (Pegeus Hurst Ford) and they said the BC update listed had expired in December and they would have the newest in early March. I waited until the middle of March to go back and ask what's going on. They said they had to...
  12. Washer fluid does not come out - 2022

In that picture above, it is right behind the passenger side wheelwell. Just undo the bolts for it and bend it out of the way. You will see the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir with the motor sticking out of the bottom. It is pushed into a rubber grommet seal, so it is just a matter of...
  13. Washer fluid does not come out - 2022

Not always. Mine didn't have any coming out, but I could hear the motor trying. The filter was totally clogged and covered in that slime. Just trying to share my experience to be helpful. Hope you get the resolution you are after.
  14. Washer fluid does not come out - 2022

If you hear the pump trying to work, then the filter on the pump is gunked up. You can remove it and then clean the slime off the filter. When you reinstall it, it ill work fine...if the pump itself is trying to work, that is. My 21 Platinum PB did that. It had some orange colored slime all over...
  15. Request VIN Lookup Thread

Thank you so much! Great information. Maybe one of these east Texas dealers have someone on staff that understand it and can get it right for me.
