  4. Easy accessible parking light tap?

Thats the long but right way…unless you have a lift. It will make the actual taps super easy. Thanks for the second option!
  5. Easy accessible parking light tap?

Hello all! I want To tap into the parking lights to provide power to a set of fender badge leds. Accessing the parking bulbs is proving difficult. (Front wheel well peel back get to bulb from in front of wheel method.) Is there a engine bay fuse that is hot during parking lights? It would be...
  6. Would You Buy New Unregistered F150 Platinum with Factory Replaced Engine?

If the engine was the only issue and the original owner had those options installed, why walk away? I mean, the original owner had his truck the way he wanted, and the one issue was the engine and it was replaced… why not stick with it? I think there is something else. I wouldn’t risk $65k.
  7. First day of my 2022 F-150 ownership - The good, the bad, the ugly

Stay away from Autonation Ford Frisco. Lots of helpful advice on this forum and this thread. Just don’t go to AFF. There are stories of their poor work all over the forums.

  10. Number of catalytic converters on a 2.7 V6?

Good to know. Secondarly I am worried about all the Cat thefts I am hearing about. I figured the 2.7 F150 is SURE to get cats stolen if there are three. Then I was told two are impossible to really get to. So I figured you can't steal what I don't have. Thanks again!
  11. Number of catalytic converters on a 2.7 V6?

How many cats are on the 2.7? I head there are three. Two on each side by the manifold and one further down near midway to the muffler. Next question: are they all O2 sensor monitored? I am trying to figure out if I can straight pipe past the 3rd but only if it is not O2 monitored... THANKS!
  12. Wheel well liners and carwash bottom blasters

Has anyone ever had a car wash damage the aftermarket wheel well liners when getting their truck washed? I am speaking about the semi-rigid inserts that you place in the rear wells and bolt in in place with plastic inserts. Husky and rough country makes them. My concern is the undercarriage...
