Bought new BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3s. They are a great tire, even if most of my driving is to work on the highway.
Much better than the Pirelli Scorpion ATR in wet/rainy weather. Would assume they are better in the snow, too. The Pirellis are an ON-Road All-Terrain, so it is...
I agree with the Hydroplaning. My daughter and wife agree. I had BF Goodrich KO2 on my Jeep and Ford Ranger. Loved them and had no problem with hydroplaning. The Pirelli Scorpion ATR is wearing well, but there isn't anywhere for the water to go. They are a great highway tire because they...
Looks nice! I do use the +/- buttons to lock the transmission into low gear when pulling a trailer through the hills. Same as downshifting into 1st or 2nd as an old column shifter. Thanks for supplying the part numbers.
Some of us older guys were taught to use the mirrors only. My grandpa when I was first learning to drive would hit me on the head if I turn it to look out the back. What is worse, at that time most cars only had one mirror, the passenger side mirror was an option.
Had to learn how to back...
My 2023 was built in Nov 2022 and is in the recall. I called on Monday and verified they had the parts, which I was told they did have them and they would be able to perform the repair today, Thursday May 8th.
The dealer picks it up and then calls me and said the recall was VIN specific and...
You are not alone hiting fire hyrdrants in parking lots. Didn't see one and messed up the rear of my truck on the passenger side. $10,080 later it looks good as new!!!
Thanks for posting this information. I will leave this in my truck so there is no argument as to what needs to be done for the recall. Both people I talked to seemed as though they were aware an assured me the parts were in stock for the repair. We will see!!!
Mine is going in on Thursday. Talked to the service manager and he confirmed the new axles have the external thread and the nut instead of the old tapped thread in the middle of the axle!
I talked to the service department at my dealer and they have the parts and will be doing the recall on the truck. I asked twice it if was the new part like the doorman that has the nut and outside thread. Letters are going out week of May 12 to owners that a solution has been completed and...
I don't understand how they claim the recall has been completed. Based on the original recall paperwork if a bolt broke the axle shafts were to be replaced as an interim repair until the official recall fix was determined. I have not seen anything that indicates a fix for the recall has been...
I have had a rubbing type noise the last few months. I removed the caps but the bolts were intact. The truck has 42,000 miles on it.
There have been posts of the front or rear differential requiring service/rebuilt because of bad bearings. To me, my current noise is more like a bad bearing...
How does the truck disable remote features while driving???? This is the fourth time this week i got this message, first time while driving. I drive 30mins one way when traveling for work. This last message was after a 45 min drive, then 50 mins at a resturant. This message was shortly...
It's Ford Premium ESP. I don't understand the logic as to why it is not covered. It covers power door lock. This is a power door lock but also the latch.
