What would the front panel trim look like if I just did a console delete? And how involved is that? In my current truck I deleted the jumpseat to make room for my cooler. The new truck I'm going to get has a center console and I'm wondering how onerous it is to delete.

It started misfiring, took it to the dealer that day, sent them the recall notice. They checked the engine valve and saw that it was cracked. Pretty sure that was all they needed to know. There's another recall out there for fuel pump that can cause misfiring, so if you encounter misfiring it...

unknown. could have been from using 4WD on higher-traction surfaces when I didn't need to. expensive lesson learned perhaps? I now only use 4WD on snow, mud, and sand. Never on dirt or gravel roads unless it's steep and technical.

Tow mirrors look good and that's a backup, but they're expensive and it's easy to come by the 13th gen OEM mirrors used for $100 or less. Is the fit issue just with the pins, or is the 13th gen mirror shape not going to fit a 14th gen? If the former could a pin adaptor work...

@Swags was right; it was a failed CV joint. When turning the wheel from full lock the shaft would pop about an inch from the edge to the center of the joint. This jump is what made the sound. Replaced CV axles and the sound went away; case closed.

I started getting this notice two days ago after a week of cold weather in Idaho. I have the 2kw pro power and use it all the time, so it's definitely a bummer to be without it. I have a dealer appointment in a few weeks. Any tips on what to ask for? I should be under warranty (year 1, 15k miles).
