my 21 powerboost shifts way better than my 18 5.0 10 speed. i don't have harsh downshifts at all on the powerboost and the 1-3 shift is miles better on the new one. the 18's 10 speed felt like there was a stall converter when cold and i dreaded that first 1-3 shift

I guess you could always run a hose from the exhaust to vent away from the truck like garages do
