Progressive was surprisingly easy to deal with. Uploaded pictures for them. They did go to the body shop to inspect the damage, but it seemed like they were worried we were missing something. Approved the repair the day after it got to the body shop. Unfortunately I have had a bad run of luck...
I did. $5,300.
Ended up having to go through insurance. The tail light alone was $1500.
They removed the entire panel. Apparently its just "glue" and rivets holding it on. So the body shop has to have a special rivet tool from Ford to do it. Truck is supposed to be back today. They had it for 2...
High beams and the light bar.
The material was the bumper material. There were a couple spots that the plastic clips into on either side of the light that had to be removed. The plastic still covered it up, so it doesn't look bad. But its not ideal.
I finally got around to installing the light bar. It took a lot of cutting. Had to remove a lot of metal behind the black plastic covers. About 1" on either side to make the brackets fit. Used the Sherpa mounts. It works, puts out a good amount of light. Really wish I would have run 4 XL 80s...
This! Sounds good is great! I used them and just added a sub to my 2025. I did an MTI behind the seat box, but the Sounds Good Kicker Keyloc setup made everything incredibly easy. Literally the hardest part was running power for my amp.
My truck is the backbone of my life. I work out of my truck. Last week I spent 72 hours and 2200 miles in my truck. I haven't even made my 2nd payment and I have 10,000 miles on my truck. Improving the capability of the tool I use most would be massive for me and my family.
It took me 2 hours from start to finish, in my driveway with a basic tool set. The 21mm to remove the bumper i had in my impact wrench set. I am by no means a mechanic. It was easier than it seems.
It should only be able to clip on 1 way. I pulled the lights out the front when I had everything apart. It was 4 -10mm bolts. Pulls straight out the front. There was a clip in the back holding it, so you have to give it a good pull.
Only other thing I will say it I tried to turn the lights on...
