I still like mine a lot. Very quiet and very good in rain. Mild offroading is good but I do nothing serious. I lost 1 mpg but I went from 275 65 18 to 275 70 18 SL. The weight is only 46 so I think this is just the speedo as I haven't recalibrated.
They have a little bit of a firmer feel so that may be what they are referring to with the ride quality. Noise isn't an issue for me with these but I would describe it as a higher pitch so maybe it's a little more noticeable. I've had the Falkens before and although the overall volume is...
I bet that size and the 275 70 18 I have above are going to be pretty popular. There just aren't many SL options in those sizes. Mine ride a bit firm too but I'm OK with that especially when towing my travel trailer.
400 prefer local pickup/meet up in DFW area.
This is the standard set. Works as advertised in many positive reviews. I just no longer need it as my trailer setup right now is very light.

I'm running the Nitto Terra G3 in the 116T 275 70 18. So far so good. It's either these or General Grabber ATX in that size if you want to stay SL. I don't recommend LTs for our trucks unless you tow really heavy a whole lot or do serious rock crawling. i made that mistake once andnit...
I can recommend 2.
The Falken Wildpeaks are pretty good in both in my experience. They are a heavier tire but they do well in those conditions. I don't know if I would consider this a mild AT though.
I decided to try the new Nitto Terra grappler G3 this time around. So far very good on...
So I had stock size SL 275/65/18 Falkens which were almost 49 lbs. Mileage on the highway was basically unchanged, city driving took a bigger hit. Mild change in acceleration but nothing significant. I think it would be a bigger deal on some of the larger e-rated tires as some of those are...
I went the opposite direction from Falkens to a similar tire-Nitto Terra G3 in SL 275/70/18. I thinks the G3s might basically be the Nitto version of the Toyo AT3. For me, the Falkens were more comfortable in absorbing road imperfections whereas the Nittos are a little firmer riding so did...
Today I got the Nitto G3s in SL 275/70/18. Other than the General Grabbers, I think this is the only SL in that size. Initial impression is that they are very quiet and handle well. I would call them more firm/sporty (for a truck tire) and are certainly an improvement over the stock...
Outdoor Auto has a review on YouTube. Following as I would love to hear some feedback. They have a 275/70/18 in both SL and E that I'm interested in as I'm getting close to replacing the stock Goodyears.
