Piggy backing on this… what apps do you guys actually *use* on CarPlay? I feel like I am exclusively Apple Music, Apple Maps, and… that’s about it. Any other apps out there adding value to your ride?

I connect my phone via cable, no Bluetooth. Too many places that interfere with CarPlay in my area, so the phone gets plugged directly into the truck. Then I am connecting to OBD. It’s working better now.

Connected better this time. Seems to give me more trouble if I am driving and try to connect. I turned the truck ON, opened the app and connected right away. still not sure why it would make a difference but I appreciate the help.

iPhone 15PM, always current OS. I drove it this morning and it connected quickly but I had the OBD unplugged before I started. We’ll see how easy it is when I leave for my next destination.

Do you leave the OBD plugged in? Turn on the truck, open the app, hit connect and you’re good? That never works for me. I have to open Settings>Bluetooh>OBDLink Device, then go back to app.
