I just decided I wanted to run raptor takeoffs and figured 2.5 would give me a bit more space and make the truck closer to level.
No issues with the upper control arms.
Honestly, I had to do mine twice, lol. Originally I set mine at position 5 for 2 inches but then bumped it to position 6 for 2.5.
Second time was much faster, lol.
I may be totally out to lunch, but it looks like you have the 6112's set at position 4. I was of the belief that the 5.0 and 3.5 would get 2 inches at position 5 and 2.5 inches at position 6.
I would guess that's why you might still be getting some rub.
I could be wrong as I'm not looking at...
I just purchased a set of takeoff 2025 Raptor wheels, tires and sensors. I had to be patient but they popped up today from my local dealership and I snapped them up within 30 minutes of him posting.
Picking up tomorrow but won't be installing until the spring as I'm on winters.
I might test...
I'm not certain there's a specific part number for the work surface as you can get several different arm rests. I'll post a Pic in a bit of the sticker off this one.
Decided to swap in my work surface this evening. Pretty darn cold outside but managed to get through it pretty quickly and without issue. Swapped out the latch from my original armrest as well.
Looks fantastic. I just sold my 20" BAP wheels this evening as I plan to go Raptor take-off wheels and tires.
I have a 2.5" level on the front. Do you think those wheels would contact mudflaps as i have them installed and might have to go to a kickback style.
I was installing my coilovers the other day and it is definitely coming from the driver's side, in the firewall area on my truck.
My truck was turned off and i heard it.
Decided to bump the front coilovers to 2.5 inches so had to disassemble everything and do it all over. Super easy the second time around, lol. Decided on 34 inch tires. Just trying to figure out what size wheels I want to go with. I have factory 18's and 20's on hand.
Well, depends on your comfort level. There are some newer style spring compressors or you could always take your old struts and new ones to a shop to have them assemble. Would save you a ton of cash
Holy smokes! In case you'd consider the non Ford branded Bilstein 6112/5160 which I did, I can send you a PM for the retailer I used. Paid $1754.25 plus tax, free shipping to Western Canada.
Essentially the exact same setup for about $1250 cdn less.
You were absolutely right. Took about 45 minutes per side and the hardest part was those damn studs. The Bilstein design is way better with bolts instead.
I used a small pry bar and carefully persuaded the studs out. Could have disconnected the lca's but it was so close I didn't bother.
I've been looking at with of those options as well, especially the AT3 EV tires. I was also considering going to a 285/60r20 in the normal AT3 but it's overall a smaller tire.
