  1. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

"Poorly cobbled together" thanks. I wrote it.
  2. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

Production numbers by engine type aren't publicly stated, so it would be impossible to include that metric.
  3. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

I've come to the conclusion I could post a study saying researchers have found that it gets lighter outside when the sun rises and there will always be someone who finds a way to dispute the findings.
  4. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

Here's your gift for the day! More fodder to use against turbo haters. LOL https://pickuptrucktalk.com/2025/02/most-reliable-truck-engines-lasting-more-than-150k-miles/ “iSeeCars analyzed over 1 million trucks on the road in 2024 with at least 150,000 miles. It identified the engine brand...
  5. Rust on brand new 2025 Platinum

LOL. Yup! I take enough criticism to be honest, so it's nice if the automaker takes all the criticism.
  6. Rust on brand new 2025 Platinum

I remember doing videos on this when I bought a 2021 F-150 Powerboost. The responses were a mixture of "hey dumbass all Ford's have rust" to "holy crap that's awful."
  7. I really don't get the PB hate.

    I like free whiskey?
  8. I really don't get the PB hate.

I'm confused. All new 2024 5.0L V8 Ford trucks come with the 10-speed and cylinder deactivation.

Hi! Influenced-media here. What makes you say that?
  10. I really don't get the PB hate.

This is very accurate. Far too many people think the higher trim levels are only about leather seats and a bigger screen. The ride is different, sound deadening is better, the tires are typically better, etc...
  11. I really don't get the PB hate.

Doesn't have any impact. The GM 3.0L diesel has start/stop. I've spoken to engineers and customers. Nobody has had an issue with that. Interestingly, the start/stop is such a non-issue really, yet it gets a lot of attention from people from a reliability point of view. I did an interview with...
  12. I really don't get the PB hate.

I have an open invitation to CR's operation and test track. I just haven't made a plan to get up there yet since it is such a long trip for me. I've also spoken with them at length about their findings and shared a few criticisms I've had. All I'll say is they have their business model and they...
  13. I really don't get the PB hate.

They make a heavy-duty payload package for the F-150. Pretty tough to find, but it is out there. I have to say I'm pretty surprised to read your comment on ride quality with the Super Duty. I've had them for a week-long press loan and have had to use a heating pad on my back every night. With...
  14. I really don't get the PB hate.

I keep asking Ford where is the SuperDuty PB and I get a deer in the headlights look. I swear they don't know what they have with most things. I still remember being at the media launch event for the Maverick and they had no idea how popular it would be. I just don't get the leadership team at...
  15. Post Your List of Repairs/Failures (Warranty, or otherwise)

Good. Not sure if I read that or not so sorry about that. Glad you got it fixed.
