Having same issues with driver side, found that there was a metal support spring poking into the cables. See my pics here. Hope that helps if you’re still battling with it. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/headrest-speakers-b-o-unleashed.34564/post-668595
Might have found root cause to my issue. I took the clips from behind the seat cover to gain access to the inside of the back. Shined a flash light up there and traced the speaker cables from both sides. Saw that a metal spring/support was digging into the cable bundle. I had suspicion that...
Just tried on mine, it's a 2021 maybe different but they are clipped and zippered, then you can just pull the headrest cover up to access the speakers. There are two speakers in the headrest and both wires are soldered on so not sure how to remove/disconnect them without clipping the wires.
Just started having the same problem that led me here! It's very annoying. My door speakers also crackles/pops but not as much as the headrest. I can bounce around and push back into the seat and make it crackle/pop. Was trying to remove the headrest but it didn't want to come off. Will try to...
I did it myself at 60K, just plugs. Easy enough. Hardest part was reaching over to the areas, but I didn't remember anything was in the way causing issues. I'm probably due for another end of the year at 120k.
I'm convinced there is no fix and Ford is waiting for the problem trucks to just die off. Just hit 100k in my 2021 so maybe one less recall for them to fix soon if they keep kicking it down the road a quarter at a time.
Hit the 100K club last weekend. Decided against getting another warranty extension. Didn't even use the first one and the extension on the extension is not worth the monthly cost. I'll use that money for other things of interest. Overall, the truck's mechanicals have been reliable so far. The...
Ohhh just realize you're a bit new.... there was a version of FordPass in 2021 until not so long ago that had all of those features. A member on here even made a FordPass companion app that worked even better by using their API until they decided to close it off so it broke all of his work. Then...
I don't think the current platform supports it. Maybe next gen trucks? But FordPass they can do much more but they choose not to or don't have enough competent people. The previous versions had all the features don't know why they are trying to reinvent the wheel with new FordPass. The only...
They are working on something like this. I got a test invite to try it out. I filled out a survey form but not sure If I'll qualify since I have a bed cap.
I don’t remember can’t find the original order email. But check out this thread. There are multiple part #s if I recall correctly. And it might have updated since then.

I needed a new wire harness from my original one. The y-cable connects to my new bumper wire harness that enables the port for the AUX camera. It's been a few years but I think the reason I did it that way because I wanted to leave the YAW sensor/Trailer TPMS sensor port free. I'm currently...
Not sure how the camper's wiring will work since it's a separate port. It's not going to plug into your trailer 7 pin port. Ford's trailer cam is plugged into a separate port too. I bought the AUX cam, Ford Smart Trailer Y-Cable for CSPNW ANYWHERE Auxiliary Camera, 25/30ft CSPNW cable...
Not a bad idea on a wreck 23+ truck. That might be the way to go. Hopefully by the time it fails, I'll be in a used Lightning as my daily driver. I have 2021 3.5 Powerboost Plat with the Max Tow... All the good stuff and bad! Still waiting on that Max Tow fix from Ford too. And the pending...
Got a flyer in the mail yesterday since my 2021 F150 Powerboost is about to hit 100k soon (at 97k now) and my ESP expires at 100K for a Ford Protect Continued Service Plan. Anyone use this before and is it worth it? Seems like extra insurance on failing parts but seems pricey for a year of...
