To avoid a $500 mongoose cable + license and at the risk of doing it incorrectly, I’m wondering if Ford dealers offer this service? I’ll assume not as that would’ve been offered. Wondering if anyone has had luck asking a dealer to perform this update in lieu of replacing an APIM?

Correct that Auto Updates cannot toggle on. Does this mean I need a new APIM or can I bypass/update via Mongoose? I’m not technically savvy with vehicles but can follow instructions.

I'm also in a lurch with '21 - dealer said my APIM needs to be replaced for $1,300 as my Sync 4 won't update (but says it is updated). Will someone please check my VIN to help diagnose if replacing APIM is the solution - 1FTFW1E83MFB17491? Lots of knowledgeable people on here and I appreciate...
