I've been using the E-boost for two weeks and noticed that you can accelerate a little harder before the ICE kicks in but it also seems to delay going into EV mode also, it seems.
Driving the same route to work at 2am I can experiment without being honked at, and before the e-boost tune it...
Agreed.
Would definitely love to see an aftermarket transmission pan available with with cooling fins and/or increased capacity made of anything besides plastic.
I also have a '21 and just changed the batteries in June, before a road trip, went with the Costco (Interstate H7) under hood replacement and O'reillys larger aux battery (ETX15). Couldn't find a date on the under hood battery but my aux battery had a 6/21 sticker on it and it just started...
Driving today and noticed something else that's weird... When the drl or headlights are on the turn signals stay on solid, even with the turn signal on and flashing normally on the dash. I'll definitely have to switch the settings back... Can't believe you can override the turn signals so...
So I finally jumped into my truck with forscan, using the easy mode (not the digit changes found in spread sheets) and found the rt frt and lt frt turn settings and enabled to 'turn and position'. The amber lights did come on in the parking lights position but so do the DRL's, albeit very dim...
Thank you for that.
Was able to get an Interstate H7 and that same ETX15 battery from O'reilly's today to replace the aux battery. My old H7 measured 12.71V after it was removed and I couldn't find a date on it (I'm not the original owner). The Aux battery had a 6/21 sticker on it and...
Don't want to start a new thread but which size batteries are needed if you wanted to change both of them before a long trip. I understand that you can use an H8 instead of an H7 (Group 49) in one of the spots (aux?), as long as you trim the tray, but what about the other one in the engine...
I think this is the sound I get on my 21 also sometimes, to me almost like some type of shield making metal to metal contact and then you get that squeal/chirp for a split second.
So you found that option in the BCM module in Forscan? I've downloaded Forscan and have the good adaptor but haven't done anything with it yet.
I appreciate your efforts.
Tried it with and without drl enabled in vehicle settings to no avail.
I see plenty of current gen trucks with just the amber parking lights on but don't know if they're a '21 model like mine.
