  1. Driver Side Door Panel Rattle - Trim Removal?

Did anyone find a solution to this? (I know, this is an old thread) I have the same issue on my 2 week old 2023 XLT. I push on the door or just the map piece and it stops. The noise is still noticeable when I play music, probably because it's right near my left ear.
  2. Because everyone has it.... GAS STATION SHOTS!!!

I can see that your RV is called a Minilite but those tires don't look hefty enough to travel on the highway. Kinda scary. Any issues with swaying or fishtailing.
  3. Tonneau cover vendor recommendations please

Thanks for the heads up. I am in a state of paralysis by analysis myself. And after all this consideration I didn't consider that my Motion XT XXL would be longer than my bed, geez. If it's not one thing it's another. At least I have the 6.5' bed but I'll still hang over by more than a foot...
  4. Retrax Realtruck Spotlight!

Looking for a tonneau for a new f150 6.5' bed. I would like it to have t slots for a bed rack. I found the elevate rack that I can put my Thule Motion XT on in the low position & when I need to haul something longer like lumber or pipe I can raise it up above the cab. Will the Elevate rack work...
  5. Remind me what the extended warranty sweet spot is? 100k/7 years?

I agree with your thinking on the electronics. Way expensive to replace/repair and out of my wheelhouse to DIY. Just wish there was an electronics only plan. My wife has a 2019 Subaru Forester which before seeing these new F150's I thought was so hi-tech. It is hitech but not as much as the...
  6. Bed storage / organization -- plastic chest that sits along the front bed wall and still fits under a tonneau cover

Haven't gotten my truck yet, but as I am looking at the things I want to do to it I agree with Atlee. My storage needs will change often so why not just go with some generic tubs or trays & save the big money for the more important things. Now if you're jobbing out of the truck, using the same...
  7. What grade fuel do you run?

If the engine adjusts to how it is running mostly because of load + octane does it have a memory. I mean if it learns how to throttle at different loads because of octane ,then when you change the octane does that mean it has to learn again. If so seems it would be best to stay at one octane as...
  8. Introductions and Welcome Thread! 👋

Been lurking on here for months. while deciding what I wanted. Now I'm waiting on my truck, ordered 2.7.23 & in production this week. Scab 5.0 4x4 302a Carbonized Grey 6.5 cargo bed, powered rear window, bed utility package. My first ever pick up truck. Retired from commercial HVAC work July...
