This is kind of how I'm feeling about the entire process. Ford really doesn't have it's act together on custom orders, a more cynical person would say they want to maintain the retail order status quo.
I'm mixed on the new tailgate. It is harder to get in out of, for actual truck things. Though I doubt I'll use mine much as a truck, and putting a few things in, accessing power, that would be easier with the pro access.
No way, I have a philosophical problem with leaving money on the table. If I can get money for less than the return on that money, I'd rather get a loan and pocket the difference. Even with today's rates its easy to beat those rates with no brainer ETFs.
Another week of no scheduling? I may need to consider going in another direction, part of the appeal of an F150 was I thought it wouldn't be tough to get because they built so many. I clearly was wrong on that front.

I had the same thing happen, my dealer had to confirm with their Ford rep, I have a Lariat that is unscheduled (entered in January) and they were told that onboard scales, because it was part of the tow package at the time of order entry, would be included.
You never know, though that seems...
It's weird because I would think if it was a deletion the BAP package would say it removes them though under the bullet points it is not listed.
I'm not super particular about the headlights, darker does look better, though it's the chrome wheels and chrome trim on the car I wanted deleted...
The language is a bit confusing for the onboard scales.
For unscheduled retail orders (Lariat with tow package) will onboard scales be included if order placed in January (though not scheduled) or does onboard scales now have to be added back in by my dealer?
That's not too bad, my lariat order had it, even if they do raise it and don't have price protection $300 isn't too bad. Still a bit frustrating, ordered a Corvette a few years ago and Chevrolet held the pricing from the time you ordered to when it was delivered. Ford really needs to take a...
